Only known to be used by the Japanese Special Forces Group. The MP7 is a German made submachine gun. Some JSDF members use this gun during the Skirmish at Akusho. Both Russian and American agents used them during the Hakone Incident.

Overview

The MP7 is a submachine gun that bridge the gap between assault rifles and conventional submachine guns. In reponse to the increasing usage of high-quality body armor which causes guns that fire pistol ammunition ineffective, the MP7 was designed with the HK 4.6×30mm cartridge with greater penetrating power. This allows the MP7 to penetrates the NATO CRISAT TARGET (1.6 mm titanium and 20 layers of kevlar) even at 200 m, while still being compact enough to be used in place of either a pistol or a submachine gun.
